The ESSEC Foundation is authorized to receive donations, temporary usufruct donations, copyright transfers and gifts from an estate provided that a person is the beneficiary.
You can choose to donate all or part of your assets to the ESSEC Foundation.
The ESSEC Foundation is also authorized to receive donations through transfer of securities/equities. These can be shares, bonds, SICAV (an investment company with variable share capital) or FCP (mutual funds).

Choose your country of residence
Under the aegis of the Fondation de France, a non-profit-making organization, the ESSEC Foundation offers important tax advantages to its donors. Under the new French tax system in 2018, the tax deductions applied to the Impôt sur la Fortune Immobilière (IFI replacing the previous ISF) and to the Income Tax (IRPP) remain the same.
The following tax deductions thus apply to your donations to ESSEC Foundation.
TAX DEDUCTIONS FOR RESIDENTS IN FRANCE
Income tax
66 %
of your donation is deductible from your income tax, up to a limit of 20% of your taxable income, with a carry-over of the surplus possible over 5 years.
Tax on real estate wealth
75 %
of your donation is deductible from the tax on real estate wealth, with a deduction ceiling of €50,000.
Corporate tax
60 %
of your company's donation is deductible from corporate tax, up to a limit of 0.5% of turnover excluding tax or €20,000.

If you are a tax resident in Luxembourg, you can follow the donation procedures from France.
A tax agreement exists between our two countries allowing tax residents in Luxembourg to benefit from the tax deductions in force in Luxembourg by making a donation to an institution in France.

Thanks to the support of ESSEC Alumni USA, if you are a US taxpayer you can give to the ESSEC Foundation and benefit from tax deductions as stipulated in Article 501(c) paragraph 3 of the IRC (local authorities income tax).
