Vincenzo Vinzi, Dean of ESSEC, and Thierry Fritsch (E80), President of the ESSEC Foundation, presented the latest updates from the School, highlighting its growing influence in the UK through its local Hub or worldwide through ambitious new academic partnerships. They emphasized the essential role of alumni in ESSEC’s development, as well as the importance of social scholarships and the endowment fund in supporting tomorrow’s talent. Xavier Mayer, a major donor to the Foundation, shared his deep connection to the School and his commitment to organizing events in the UK, embodying the spirit of community that drives ESSEC graduates.
Julien Malaurent (PHD 12), Deputy Dean of ESSEC and AI expert, captivated the audience with a presentation on the ESSEC METALAB, the School’s center of expertise and influence that positions ESSEC as a European leader in data and AI research and education. His talk, followed by enriching discussions, underscored the increasing impact of AI in business and higher education, as well as the need for everyone to adapt to these transformations.
