How to support us

Anyone can support the ESSEC Foundation, either individually or on behalf of your company. You can make a one-off donation, a pledge over a number of years, or contribute in other ways. Every donation makes a difference to the Foundation, and therefore to ESSEC - whatever the amount. More than 1,850 people have already given to the Foundation. Now’s your chance to join us.

Cash donations

The ESSEC Foundation can receive donations on a one-off basis or over several years. You can give online, by check, by bank transfer or direct debit. For more information, click on your country of residence below.

Bequests

You can choose to donate all or part of your assets to the ESSEC Foundation in the form of a bequest: a money gift, real estate (an apartment, house or piece of land) or tangible personal property (including antiques/furniture, works of art, equity/securities portfolio, life insurance, copyrights or patents). Donations

Donating securities

TAX ADVANTAGES OF GIVING

French residents

If you live in France you are entitled to tax deductions on income tax, wealth tax and corporate tax.

Non-French residents

The ESSEC Foundation, as part of the Fondation de France, is a member of TGE (Transnational Giving Europe), a network of partner foundations that enables you to benefit from tax deductions in your country of residence.

Under the auspices of the Fondation de France, a non-profit-making organization, the ESSEC Foundation offers important tax advantages to its donors. The following tax deductions apply to donations:

Income tax (IRPP): 66% of the amount of your donations is deductible from income tax, with an upper limit of 20% of your taxable income.

French wealth tax (ISF): 75% of your donation is deductible from your wealth tax, with an upper limit of €50,000. This means a maximum donation of €66,666.

Corporate tax (IS): 60% of your donation is deductible from your 2015 corporate tax, with an upper limit of 0.5 % of turnover before tax. For donations that exceed the upper limit, the surplus is carried forward for the 5 successive financial years.

Thanks to the support of ESSEC Alumni USA, if you are a US taxpayer you can give to the ESSEC Foundation and benefit from tax deductions as stipulated in Article 501(c) paragraph 3 of the IRC (local authorities income tax).

If you live in a country that does not have a specific partnership with the ESSEC Foundation, you can still make a donation to the Foundation. You would not be eligible for tax benefits related to your donation unless you pay wealth tax in France (in which case you would benefit from French tax deductions).
