Jean-Gabriel’s dedication to his alma mater is rooted in a spirit of giving back and gratitude. He believes it is every graduate’s duty to contribute to the institution’s growth, especially in a globally competitive environment.
By supporting the ESSEC Foundation, he sees a way to ensure the ongoing value of his degree, both in France and internationally. “I think everyone can help in their own way, and I find that automatic payments are a good way to give regularly and effortlessly,” he shares.

Jean-Gabriel entered ESSEC in 2008, specializing in finance before moving to the United States to study entrepreneurship and venture capital. After starting his career at Partech Partners in 2013, he joined Kantox in 2014 and later founded Graneet in 2019, a SaaS ERP designed for SMEs in the construction industry. His entrepreneurial journey has also brought together many ESSEC alumni as business angels.
For Jean-Gabriel, his years at ESSEC were a period of intense learning, enriched by alternating between classes and long internships. “Several courses really stood out to me, especially Negotiation, Strategic and Financial Valuation, and Cash Management. I particularly appreciated the external speakers who gave us a real-world perspective before we even entered the workforce.”
His story is inspiring: today a monthly donor, Jean-Gabriel, has chosen a simple and effective way to support the ESSEC Foundation.
Why not follow his example? Support the next generation of students and opt for automatic payments in France.
